Add a Static Route

To add a static route, complete the following steps.

1. On the toolbar, click OS > Network.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
3. Click Add Static routes.
4. Enable the Type field, and then select the type of route to create. Omit this is you are adding a simple route.
5. Enable the Metric field, and then select the route metric.
6. In the Network Address field, enter the destination network prefix of the route in CIDR notation.
7. Click Add Next Hop.
8. In the Address field, enter the address of the next hop gateway or router for this route.
9. Enable the Weight field, and then enter the bandwidth or quality of a path. This should be omitted for simple routes.
10. You can add additional routes and hops.
11. When finished, click Stage Changes.
12. If no other changes are being made, click Apply Configuration.
